Week 3, I'm starting to get a feel for the basics of the program but cant help feeling like we have only just scratched the surface of what Solidworks has to offer.
We looked at some new tools and methods to fully define our sketches/parts. The ark tool was used to draw curves between lines and then we used a tangent relation to smooth out those curves.

Simple part using just arks and lines |
This time there is a relation between the lines and the arks |
First look at using a slot tool |
This was a fun part to make as we started only making 1/4 of it and then used the mirror entities tool to create the rest of it, this was also the first time we extruded from the mid plane |
Looks tricky but by using construction lines and relations its pretty straight forward |
First time using the polygon tool, we used relations to give it the right orientation and then used a pattern/construction lines to get the inner circle cut outs |
